1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the business relationship between FinAdNews and subscribers who use our financial news and analysis services in Switzerland and internationally. By subscribing to our services or requesting information through our website, the subscriber accepts these terms as binding. Any deviating agreements must be made in writing and explicitly confirmed by both parties.

2. Contract Formation

Requests for our news and analysis services can be made through our online subscription form, email, phone, or in writing. A legally binding service agreement is formed only through our written subscription confirmation or the activation of digital access credentials. For premium subscription services, the subscriber relationship begins with the written acceptance of our detailed service proposal. We reserve the right to decline subscription requests without stating reasons or terminate scheduled services if the subscriber fails to provide necessary cooperation. In such cases, any payments made will be refunded proportionally.

3. Service Scope

The exact scope of our news and analysis services is defined in the respective service description or individual subscription confirmation. Our service spectrum includes:

  • Premium Intelligence Package with Exclusive Research

4. Prices and Payment Terms

All fees are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include statutory VAT. Payment for subscription services follows this schedule:

  • Basic News Access (CHF 29/month): Monthly billing in advance
  • Professional Analysis (CHF 79/month): Monthly or quarterly billing options
  • Premium Intelligence (CHF 149/month): Monthly, quarterly, or annual billing options

5. Cancellation and Modifications

Subscription cancellations and service modifications must be communicated in writing or via email. The following cancellation policies apply:

  • Basic subscriptions: 30-day notice period for cancellation
  • Professional subscriptions: 60-day notice period for cancellation
  • Premium subscriptions: 90-day notice period for cancellation

Service modifications can be requested at any time and will take effect at the next billing cycle. For annual subscriptions, a notice period of 90 days before renewal applies.

6. Return Policy

At FinAdNews, we strive for complete subscriber satisfaction and maintain a transparent return policy for our news and analysis services:

  • Service Satisfaction Guarantee: If you're not satisfied with our news service quality, please notify us within 14 days of subscription activation. We will review your concerns and provide full access to additional resources or offer a complete refund for the unused portion of your subscription. For premium services, we provide a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.
  • Subscription Cancellation: You may cancel any subscription with appropriate notice as outlined in Section 5. For monthly subscriptions, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. For annual subscriptions, pro-rated refunds are available if cancelled within the first 60 days.
  • Premium Package Refunds: For premium intelligence packages, we offer full refunds for unused services if you wish to downgrade your subscription, less any exclusive research reports already delivered. The calculation is based on the pro-rated monthly rate.

All refund requests must be submitted in writing with detailed reasoning. We process valid refund requests within 14 business days. Please note that access to exclusive content or downloadable reports may affect refund eligibility.

7. Liability and Content Accuracy

We deliver our news and analysis services with the utmost care and according to professional journalistic standards. Our reporting is based on information from reliable sources and our editorial expertise. We assume no liability for investment decisions made based on our content or for any financial losses resulting from market movements. We recommend consulting qualified financial advisors before making investment decisions. Our liability is limited to intentional misconduct and gross negligence, with a maximum liability of twelve times the monthly subscription fee paid in the last year.

8. Intellectual Property

All news content, analysis reports, and research materials created by us are protected by copyright and remain our intellectual property. Subscribers receive a personal, non-transferable right to use these materials exclusively for their professional purposes. Distribution to third parties, reproduction for commercial use, or republication without our express written permission is prohibited.

9. Data Protection

All data collected during service provision is used exclusively for subscription management and content delivery, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and journalistic confidentiality. By subscribing to our services, you agree to occasionally receive information about service updates and relevant offers. You may opt out of this communication at any time.

10. Final Provisions

Swiss law exclusively governs all subscription agreements. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Zürich. Should individual provisions of these T&C be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the original provision. No verbal side agreements exist. Changes to these T&C must be made in writing and will be communicated to you in a timely manner.
